It was a pleasant mid-summer day in 2010 when the world famous photographers Balthazar Korab and his son Christopher visited the Carl Schultz House. They arrived early in the morning and stayed late into the evening. The charming Balthazar shared stories of his long and sparkling career. He told us of how he met and interviewed for a position with Wright about the same time this house was under construction. A life-long Wright enthusiast, Balthazar had previously shown us photos he had taken of the house the year after it was completed.
I did the best I could to document that day and have included some of the photos they took that day, which needless to say are copyright Balthazar Korab Ltd.
